We have one constant in life which anchors us, gives us hope, peace, and comfort. For this, I am very thankful.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Is. 9:6
No matter what appears to be happening around us, we have the assurance that the government is ultimately in His control. We have the promise of wonders He will do. We have an all-wise counseller to turn to. We have the Most High on our side. Because of His Son, we have reconciliation and can cry to Him Abba Father (Daddy). In the end, we have the ability to be on the winning side and enjoy His peace, even while we're going through struggles and trials. His peace is ever present and available to us. As a perfect gentleman, He merely knocks and waits to be invited in, because His ultimate desire is to know that WE desire Him.
May God richly bless each and every one of you in the coming year. May you find His grace and presence near to your heart and those near to you. May we all have the wisdom to turn to Him and submit ourselves to His will, and seek Him to guide our Nation, and restore it as we seek Him and His will for us.
