    I meant all other times before the sink hole. Other than the sink hole, did you ever have an opportunity to go deep enough to utilize the snorkel?

    And if you did, did water get in the interior?

    Boy Howdy--the 80-series are some serious workhorses. I've got the same LandCruiser affliction but my preference is for the 70-series diesels. (dieseldog on ih8mud.com )

    37" super swampers tsl's but skinny. Work great long as there is a bottom they are designed to dig. If not bottom you will be stuck.

    IMG_20160318_001146.jpg First stuck, there is an underground spring here with all the rain the ground rippled when you walked on it. I went with the tall skinny tire theory the same one that they use in africa. Skinny tires work better in 99% of off road situations minus the not bottom situation :) .

    Don't be too hard on yourself! Fatigue and also worrying about the truck all night can definitely impair judgement. I do lots of dumb things after a long days work.
