Hey guys been getting a lot of good information off this site as of lately and pointers. I take a trip down near Camden Arkansas every year right after Christmas and do a lot of trapping for coyotes, cats, beaver, and otter. On the property we trap there has been some hogs on it and we just started getting hooked on hunting them and it is very addicting. Usually only get about 3 a year. We don't have dogs and no open fields to hunt at night.. Usually been finding them in hardwood bottoms on the edge of swamp Bottoms in late afternoon.. Any tips anyone thinks might help up the count this year would be appreciated.. Thank you

Welcome! Same tips for night hunting apply in the day. Try to figure out the leader if you take her out first the rest usually either lock up or get confused (this will help you get multiples out of one group). Of course bait the areas use feeders, hog roll barrels, holes filled with rotten corn. Hogs will be hungry by that time the acorns will all be gone so baiting will work very well. Remember their number one defense is smell, but they can also see and hear well. Stay down wind and use stinky, sweet strong smelling bait.
