Lone Boar, Coyote in OK

Scanning the property yesterday around 9PM with my youngest, actually looking for the armadillos that seem intent on creating a subway system under the house. I have been spotting them with the Zeus and he has been dispatching with his .17 HMR Golden Boy.
No armadillos, but when I look around the back of the bunkhouse (about 150 yards away), there is a decent size boar at the feeder. Haven't seen a pig on that game camera in months, but there he is. We put a structure between the hog and us, and the rapidly sauntered (like a jog but didn't want to take heat for jogging again) to the bunkhouse. Grab the 6.8, reattach the thermal hoping zero stayed true, and lined up for an 85 yards shot. Round hit the neck just forward of the shoulder which dropped him but needed an extra round to finish him off. He got a light dusting of corn from the feeder before we dumped him in the buzzard staging area.
A couple of hours later, a few coyotes were trying to investigate and one paid the price.
No video, I had taken it off to scan for armadillos.

Gnarly boar, I would have sprinted. Well, maybe I wouldn't have.

That yote seems to be loosing his winter coat, first time I've actually seen that. Nice pig and yote down it's always nice to be lucky.
