i must say a lot of hog killing goes on here. i also like it that there's not a lot of people bickering or shoving their opinions up my ass as if there's only one way to do something, their way. y'all did miss my 1 month anniversary, but that's ok. for the most part everyone is cordial and can take a joke. speaking of... just to let y'all know that i can take as much as i give, here is a sample of the grief i catch elsewhere. like i said, normally i wouldn't do this, but.... it's just too funny not to share...
and if scram had his way, he'd have y'all believing i only spend half my time conquering hogs. the other half, well...
oh yea, what would a djones thread be without a dead hog. video malfunctioned. ok, maybe i played around with he settings and didn't test them. end result is i have no video. it was windy and i drove into a wheat field without him hearing me. got within range (sort of) and went for the neck shot. i hit low in front of the shoulder and he bolted. i took a long dead aim and nailed him running hard. wish y'all could have seen it.
