One of the hog roll barrels the hogs had never touched is now missing. Don't think anyone took it the chain is still there. The clip must have broke but I can't find it will have to search more tomorrow.

I've found mine twisted off, even with swivels, but the area's are fairly wooded so they are usually within 50 yards or so hung up in some bushes

I have found mine up to 150 yds away and still have 1 I never found. I cannot tell people to build them too tough, the hogs are relentless! I stopped using swivels as that always seemed the weak part and I could not find one tough enough.

Ya mine has gone missing a few times and always found it buried in the brush. Everytime it broke I re-engineered the rigging, now I think it is GTG but time will tell.

Found it up in some brush about 100 yards away.

It's refilled and hooked up better now!

There you go, see any damage on the barrel? sometimes a boar will cut them.

Anyone do a hanging barrel? Should be fun watching the hogs hammer it around and come back and smack them in the head.

I tried a 5 gallon one, did not get the action I though it would, finally just tossed it on the ground and they made it a soccer ball on a 1 acre plot till it was empty about a month later..I never put a cable on it so it was interesting where I would find it each time out

That pic is what you were using Frank? Now you just have them without swivels?

yeah and for the most part they work fine tied to 2 cinder blocks in an opening where the chain cannot get snagged. The middle of the swivels and the snaps were all breaking on me and were the most expensive part so I have deleted them.

yep, had that happen several times and the perm fix is what you did, then next time no clip, just went directly to the hard point.
