Just moved to Kingwood TX from St. George UT less than two weeks ago, and I can't tell you how excited I am to find this forum. I've already read quite a few of the threads and I am impressed. I am married and have 4 children and two grandsons. My two youngest are still with us at home and they are excited to go hunt hog!!! My young man, Win 94/ 30-30, is 12 and my little lady,AR 5.56, is 9. Hope to meet some of you and learn even more. Thank you.

Heat's not the problem. In St. George, the two weeks we were packing, our normal temps were in the 100/110s. I'm used to the heat. The DRY heat that is. I need to get used to the humidity now. Unfortunately, my first day in Texas, 7/26, my cat got scared while I was holding it and bit me so deep, it got infected and I spent my first week in the hospital on IV antibiotics. That was a first for me. So now I am stuck indoors until I am done with the follow-up pills because they cause a severe reaction if I stay out in the sun for too long. I haven't had a chance to get out and explore the area yet. Can't wait though. Thank you all for the welcomes!!!!
