I know my 12.5 SBR barks! I don't want to shoot it around anyone else without hearing protection until I have a suppressor for it. I shot it once without my ear pro on and my ears rang for hours. I can feel the percussion from the break when I fire it. Maybe the claymore pushes it forward more instead of back at the shooter.
