Grey Ghost meets the six-eight

It's been almost 8 months to the day since I last killed a pig at this stand. Pigs, for the most part, have been absent from this portion of the property. With resources getting more scarce, they've begun to hit the corn feeder more consistently in the last 2 weeks. 30 minutes in I can hear a sounder squeeling and barking about 150 yards upwind. Over the course of another 30 minutes they gradually move closer and closer as darkness sets in. The first one to break cover was a skittish 175lb grey boar at 55 yards. In my growing excitement, I hit him a little far back, but staggering him with a single 120 SST. He ran approx 50 yards leaving a fantastic blood and material trail. Backstraps extracted, God is good!

Nice work. Fresh pork for the freezer is good.

Do you use an external IR at all? Our HD IRs at Elusive Wildlife Technologies have been a huge help with digital night vision sites.

I've yet to need an external IR where I use this rifle. I do have one however, just haven't needed it. Thanks for the tip though!
