Had a big hog for about the past 45 days rooting the side of the county road up. We tried when he first started rooting and couldn't find him. Well I thought I'd catch him out in the opening one night and kill him with night vision. Nope. Finally with the cold front we turned the dogs on him. He was right where we expected and he was expecting us. As soon as we drove in there he jumped up and ran across a lane and towards the county road. We dumped 3 fresh dogs on him and the race began. He still managed to go under 6 brand new fences and made it 7/10ths of a mile with the dogs on his tail but as soon as he hit a second group of woods he bayed and we got him killed only after he ate a 30-30 bullet like a man. As big as he was and as fresh as the dogs were I was afraid the dogs were going to take a whooping from him but when we walked in the dogs were standing back and baying as pretty as ever.
I'd figure he weighed around 225 and has 2" teeth on him.
