Haha oh well. I'm out hunting now. It's cloudy humid muddy and mosquitoey.. about 65 degrees out. Pulled up on the property shortly after 8:00 and immediately saw a hog in the open field. Left my truck up front and stalked up to about 50 yards. Shot to the neck through the Reap-IR dropped him with the 12.5" *** 6.8 and a 120 grain SST. Took all 4 quarters and backstraps out for a friend of the landowner. He's been really appreciative of me which is awesome because I'm just glad to be hunting a great property for free. He gave me $100 for gas money and a $50 gift card to Pappadeaux!
Anyways hopefully some coyotes get on the hog carcass or some more hogs come out. I'll keep y'all posted!

Just had a pair of coyotes coming toward the hog carcass but the wind took a major turn. And they took off... started trying to call em back but heavy fog/most just rolled in.

Well, you earned at least the Pappadeaux card with the time and effort in the full butcher in the brute like that with mosquitoes using you for a landing strip.

You did well to have a couple coyotes at least come in – I have yet to have any success in the hill country with them coming to carcass while I am around.
