Welcome from Northeast Texas! Lots of good information here. I have been using the 6.8 for probably 6 years. They will take out the hogs! I have 2 uppers that Eric at Blackstone Arms built for me and they are great. Good luck!

Welcome to the fray. If you're looking to convert an existing, you need the following:
1. Barrel
2. Bolt
3. Muzzle Device
4. Magazines
Everything else is interchangeable. Concur with J Bar K, contact Eric, the mid-length gas 6.8 barrels seem to be the sweet spot for the 6.8.
