I'm taking the plunge into night vision. Got my helmet mounted pvs14 this week which is incredible, thanks aaron. My armasight zeus pending.
I went out just before dusk driving my mule out to the back pasture and all of a sudden there were 4 or 5 pigs about 50-75 yds walking in front of me left to right. Shot 4 or 5 times and two confirmed KIA's. One smallish sow and a medium sized boar.
Drove out and waited in the field another 1 1/2 hrs or so and two more pigs ventured back into the field. I could see them with my pvs 14 but couldn't visualize them with my rifle and green light. Can't wait for the zeus.
