Thanksgiving day right after the big meal everyone was in the living room watching TV, while I was watching the bucks chase the does in the back pasture. All the sudden I see white tails flashing at first I can not see what is alerting them. Then I see a fawn go under a cedar tree and around the other side movement catches my eye. It is real low to the ground so I think its a big cat. Out the door I go crank the scope up to 6x and to my surprise it is a coyote slinking in low to the ground like a cat. No time to video he was real close to the fawn, so I popped him at 180 yards even per the range finder.

The best fawn killers are dead ones.

Good job Todd. Who says you can't spend time with the family and still kill stuff?!

A good yote, is a Dead Yote...
Glad you saved the fawn from an early death. Might just be a future boone & crocket buck!

He's big enough to be a full sized deer killer. Good job thinning them out.
