factory game loadings for 40s&w

Looking for bullet help. I've been shooting carcasses with the 40 carbine with some 155? grain jhp. Been getting pass through on smaller hogs. Any suggestion on bullet type for killing 80-125 pounders?

Seriously I would use any Gold dot loading for the 40.

Speer Gold Dot for me. Our department did some serious testing and that round came out on top.

I like the rangers killed a few hogs with them. I'll be loading some subsonic 180 grain's this week for the suppressed Glock. If I kill a hog I'll test them out.

I've noticed that you will get pass throughs with almost any loading in the 40 if you stand right on top of the carcass. You need to shoot the carcass at the same distance you would hunt from.

Yeah been shooting them 45 and 65 yards. Last night was the first time in the last 20 trips that I didn't kill a pig so no testing was done last night.
