Eve of Thanksgiving...Boar & Coyote

Two days prior on this property, I made a very long stalk to try to catch some hogs moving across the far side of the north pasture, only to find that they had crossed over onto the neighbor's place by the time I got to them. So I returned and set up on the north end of the property and waited. Instead of a sounder from the northwest, I picked off a lone boar coming in from the southeast.

Later I moved back to my normal ridge top position in the middle of the property and managed to pick off a coyote at ~240 yards.

Both of the kills were previously injured. The boar had a large gash in his side that was well healed and looked like a tusk cut from fighting. The coyote had half of its left hind food missing like maybe it had been cut off in a trap. The truncation of the foot was a very straight line.

Good boar down! And that’s a nice shot on the coyote! Reach out and touch them! Good shooting

Looks like that 'yote stuck his foot in his mouth while he was just too hungry. LOL Just another one of many mysteries which are discovered by hunting. Those sittin' tools are gettin' pretty fancy there B. That's almost napping tools once you get that folder workin'.

Yes, I will take two of those!

My folding footstools are the closest thing I have found to that. They hold 300/350 lbs and I can carry one in the game pocket of my hunting vest for trekking cross country.

I have a solution to that. I DON’T trek cross country anymore. I’m working on outfitting an electric golf cart that will incorporate some of those features, and it is self propelled.

35" muddies, lockers, 24V system, heated seats...

24” mudders, no lockers, and I must add the heated seats. Thanks for the suggestion. lol

Since you're interested in being warm. Used their stuff for motorcycling for over a decade, fine gear and good customer support has been my experience with them.

Nice going, particularly on the coyote!
The folding chair is great. I have an old green plastic patio chair at one of my spots. I was driving along one day and saw it sitting out for trash collection in front of a neighbor's house. It's definitely the cat's meow.
