That's a nice build. He mentions that losing the bullet connector leads from the ESCs is a 112gm weight savings. With all the reduction of all the wiring, how does that off-set the additional weight of the vertical plates, as well as the additional size of it being 340, rather than 250? Love that integral circuit board too.

The 250's are more fun if space is tight, plus until this design, they handled crashes better than the larger quads. The 340 size carries its momentum far better and if you have the space to let it run, it cruises much better than the smaller quads.

Glad you like the circut board! That's my main contribution to the design. It eliminates a lot of clutter and extra wire weight.

The side played add about 100g to the frame, but are well worth their weight in protection!
