A good start to the year. Two down. 100 lbs blond and maybe 50 lbs for the other one. They came out in day light and I dropped the blond first using my 450 Bushmaster with 250gr Hornady FTX round. She dropped in place and all the others ran off. We have thick cover where I hunt so I don't get many follow up or second shots. The smaller black hog ran straight away from me and I had just enough time to get a shot on it. I hit the backside and ripped it open (like a beer can) and down it went. I like this round. My hunting parter took both to mix with a couple of deer he has.

That's some serious rippage on the black one. Congrats.

He must have been pretty shook up from seeing Blondie go down.

New ad campaign: "Pop A Top" with Hornady!

Wow that's some major damage! Only a serious zombie hog could run after that.
