Creek Bottom Girl

Got off work in time to throw some camo pants in the truck and run about 25-30 miles away to a cattle ranch. Did a stalk around a tank with thick cover..nothing but giant mosquito's!! And lots of frogs. Moved slowly into the creek bottom and a nice sized (140-150)lb hog comes up the bank right at me, 20 yds away. No time to hit the gopro record button...worried about getting busted just bringing the gun up. A quick raise and shoot....right in the upper cheek headed back through the skull. Down hog. Needed 2 shots with my Walther 22 to finish the girl. Big dry sow, took the back straps. After she went down, another busted out of the thick brush next to me and headed for the open field...I ran up to the fence line and got 4 running shots but he was about 100 yds and getting further away. Sounded like a couple hits and he turned a couple times so maybe buzzard bait..don't know. Home in time for some take out chinese, a quick shower and the easy chair.
