Had hogs in pasture yesterday at first light but fog was thick and didn't know where the cows were, so I didn't shoot, went back this morning.
About 25 hogs, I decided to take the biggest one closest to me first, hit her high in the neck, then turned and shot farthest sow running, turned back and the closest one was running, took a Texas heart shot, ran into brush. So I turn back to the lead sow and had to put 2 more in her, she was crawling and screaming pretty loud.
Went back into brush and wounded one took off with massive damage to her rear end, crazy tough. Took 2 more to finish her.
2 days ago took 3 shots to kill 3 hogs, today 7 shots for 2 hogs. Never know how it is going to work out.thumbnail_IMG_20170630_064811421.jpg thumbnail_IMG_20170630_070005047.jpg Soww.jpg

Good on ya for getting some more action in again. We miss that GoPro trailing action though.

I went this morning in the dark and heard cows by my trap, I knew something was wrong, 2 Brahma calves were in the trap and the mamas were not happy. It just happened and I was able to release them but I pulled my 4' tall trap and am replacing it with a 3' tall trap that they can't enter. I knew I shouldn't use that trap with calves around but it was my lightweight trap and easy to load and unload. Lesson learned.

I'm posted in good old Kentucky/Tennessee aka fort Campbell. I should be back in town around august 15th-23. How are the pigs looking/moving in the Marion-segiun area it would be nice to know?

Send me the coordinates and a key to the gate and I'll check for you. Also could you send a written permission form too. Lol
