Interested in getting a clip on thermal so I can scan then shoot.
Does the size of the bell of my day scope matter?
How close must you align the center of the clip on and the day scope?
Do you need to do anything to the clip on to adjust aim if you intend to use the reticle on the day scope?
How does the day scope's reticle POI not change while looking into the thermal image? Like if I pointed my rifle scope at a camera screen, how do you know the scope and camera are lined up?
I don't night hunt much, but hate renting/borrowing things. Would I be better served to buy a dedicated thermal scope if I intend to use it on one rifle only? How much of a difference is using the clip on to scan vs a scope?
Is the image quality on a clip on better maybe because you are optically zooming using superior optics?
Thanks!
