It's been a few months since I went scouting for hogs and my youngest daughter asked to go.

She also inquired about squirrel hunting and I told her to bring the 20 gauge.

Seen lots of hogs signs and a few squirrels, but she only got a shot at one because of the heavy brush, vines, and dense wooded areas.

She was proud , but not as much as I was!

Amazing how that works. One day, it's cool (again) to hang with dad... doing stuff he enjoys.

Congrats to both.

Thanks all,

My oldest daughter (joined the Army) has always been a country-girl, but the youngest never really got involved until she went duck hunting last season.

Now she wants to go with us to deer camp this next season which means I need to get her a first rifle.

Correction: Buy all the parts and build her a 6.8
