You've tasted "Muktuk", have ya? Was it Bowhead (Black Skin), or Beluga (White Skin)? Gotta dip it in Seal Oil (Eskimo Ketchup) when you eat it.

Well that is where I screwed up did not dip it so it would slide down......... It was a BS whale.

Oh, like eating possum.

The only time I Would eat a possum if I was starving to death. I have heard all the stories about Grannies great possum and gravey or with dumplings . Think I Would eat rat first. The one time I tasted spit in out nasty taste.

The blubber isn't what you were chewing... it was the black part... the skin. The key to eating it is, to cut it really thin after cutting it into chunks. Easier to manage that way.
