The normal crew gathered up to do some wing shooting, covert watching, consuming fried doves, beverage of choice and smack talking. After the dove hunt we fried some deer and doves up had a good smack talking session then the covert went off. Got to the bait hole they were gone again. this group of hogs have slipped out on us several times. We were about 400 yards away looking down a pond levee that is growed up between the water and levee so we started towards the bait got about 100 yards away started scanning everywhere nothing then BR tapped me on the shoulder and pointed at the water. Yep 8 yards away was a sow in the waters edge .I leaned over to alert Dubbs and somewhere in the shuffle our sticks hit. O yea its on now she breaks for it comes up the levee BR stuck her with a 6.8 then a small boar comes out thump he down two more run out by now the sow gets up we unload on them all then one more blows out the grass on our right runs all amongst us no shots fired escaped with minor eardrum damage from dub's 300wtf flame thrower. ended up with two dead hogs on the levee. Hit a few more spots on a chance of crossing some more nothing. BR uncle si and Donnie have had enough so me and dubs discuss we headed to the honey hole. Get there around midnight start walking don't take long we find a 4 sows and pigs grazing. Stalk within 75 yards and watch them for about 20 minutes Grazing. When they got right and the dust settled 7 had felt the 300wtf and didn't like it. I am proud to say I didn't have to put Dubbs on the ground and twist his nose or anything I think he is gonna make a hand after all!!!
