I had zeroed my trail 2 weeks ago and checked it last week, all ok (hope it lasts this time). Went hunting last night and saw a big hog comming to the oats field. Had several chances to shoot it but waited for it to be closer (just in case it run I could shoot it again). Shot and lost focus...it was a really big guy.

Nice job! He's an ugly looking dude with BIG teeth.

Good shooting! That guy has some nice cutters on him! Good job

NICE shot! Dropped him like a bad habit! (Sorry, a saying we use around here). Good patience for the right shot opportunity.

Good hog down - single shot needed proves your patience and waiting paid off.
Big choppers on your hog - Congrats !

Nice job on being patient for the right shop… Tough to do.

These big boys don't get that way by being stupid; he easily could have faded back into the brush.

Good ivory on him... Worth the work on getting them out. Check the thread on removing tusks from last month for some methods.

Yes, he could have disappeared, but there was no moon and the oats were really high, so he thought he was invisible and safe, and he would have been if I hadn't had my Trail.
