9 Hogs Down, Plus Some Strategy & Tactics

[Brian Shaffer]

This hunt started off rather disappointing, but then took a significant upturn. There is some good shooting and some discussion on how I was trying to work a sounder into a safe shooting direction...

Lots of good shooting going on!
Some good hogs down. At least a couple of those sows looked to be preggers, good to take them out.
Great video!

Good adaptation to what wasn't going to be a good one. Fine pay-off reaped. Keep that up and you'll run out of hogs to shoot on that property.

Nice shooting again. You are certainly getting lots of shooting practice.

Mowin' em down. Kudos Brian.

Two or three certainly may have been. I know one was. I was just plain too tired to bother with checking that out by that point of the evening, LOL.

Thanks! Of course, the biggest part of the plan was the #1 rule of the landowner to not hurt any cattle.

Excellent running shots! That turned into a good nights haul. You’re getting pretty good at herding pigs!
