depends on the bullet. at what speed does it stop expanding. I stick to 200-250yds but that is just me, the gun and bullet will be effective much further but I don't have the experience shooting further.

Right now I'm shooting 120gr SST handloads. I've used 95gr TTSX, can buy the best one which at tactical higher velocity from Silver State Armory, just as long as you don't have the standard SPC 1 chamber. Also, great reports with Nosler 110gr Accubond.
