Great video! TLM, you are so right about the right calibre. This old boy, who we guessed at 280+ pounds(bag of corn for scale) went down with the initial shot (spine hit) at 40 yards. It took out his back legs. The round was the 5.56 Winchester Razorback. Great round for the smaller hogs at 75 yards or less, but this boy took (9) more 5.56 Razorbacks hits and (1) 7.62X39(from my buddy riding shotgun as backup) and was still able to go with his front legs. I realized then & there that I am going to look at a larger caliber round for my safety and for a quick & humane dispatch of my quarry. The hog finally bled out. I would hate to see what he would do if he where to run you down! Never expected to scope something this size and this mean.
