Headed out to the ranch to check the wheat field for hogs.
What I saw with the HD38A Pulsar appeared to be freshly dug up dirt in the wheat - but closer inspection with the Zeus 100mm showed a good sized group of pigs... a bunch of em.
I was able to move closer to the group - too close - 25 yards.
Fire one, and first dead piggy at 25 yards.
Fire two, and a double at 35 yards...
After that - I couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a banjo. I am gonna blame my bad follow up shots on the wheat hiding the hogs...more likely the loose nut behind the trigger.
The rancher told me they plan to cut and bale the wheat this weekend (4/15-16), which will help - I think anyway...

Stuff started looking like it was moving in fast-forward after the double. Good killin'.

Nice going! They really did seem to vaporize into the tall wheat.

25 yards is pretty close!! The tall grass definitely covered them quick!!

Nice! Too bad they disappeared so quick, you were poised to commit mass destruction.
