Back to the wheat field that swallowed the running piglets my last go-round..
Only now the wheat has been cut. One lone obummer boar showed up about 75 yrds out from the stand.
The wind is wrong for me, and he nearly figures it out - too late..
Door nail dead, and chest measures 40" ~200lbs.
-
Second boar discovered while I was enroute to my truck.
Range about 45 yards on this guy. ~180lbs.
-
Both boars drilled with my 30 Herrett AR, firing Cavity Back 125grn MKZ bullets,
over 29.0 grns Shooters World Blackout (Lovex D063-02), CCI450 primer, 2.280" oal.
Velocity 2658 fps over Oehler 35p chronograph.
Please work up your loads.

I will do my best to oblige your request. The wheat is cut so they can only hide after they get to the creek.

I have been running into singles lately - you're correct not running is fun trigger time. The sounders have moved down the creek - time to add more soured corn in the post holes.
