10 pt in south Tx

Got a nice 10 pt at a friends ranch in south Tx, Three Rivers area on the Nueces river on Nov 14th. 100 yds with my Savage .270, win SP 150 gr.
It was my first buck ever.

I have the head in the freezer and plan to do a European mount myself.

I haven't hunted Hemphill yet. I've been waiting for my stepson to move back here to Katy from Oklahoma so we can start getting things cleared and set up some feeders on his property. He's back now and we'll be hunting deer in Hemphill next season, but in the meantime it will be all hog hunting.
