300bo 10.5" vs 16"

125gr 10.5" 1800fps 16"2100fps

150gr 10.5" 1700fps 16" 1900fps

90gr 10.5" 2300fps. 16" 2500 almost 2600fps.

I assumed correctly this was a black out video. What 125 grain bullet or ammo was that? I'm getting faster velocity in my 10 inch A.R. and also in my 16 inch bolt action than you are reporting.

I get 2000 and 2250 respectively. Using either sierra pro hunter or Speer TNT reloads.

I've also wondered if someone wanted a supersonic only blackout would there be any significant velocity increase if you had a barrel made from a 1 in 12 twist?

Have you come to any conclusions regarding using the black out? Good or bad?

Interesting video! I agree that the barrel is robbing some much needed velocity. With your accuracy, there is NO way that it should take 6+ hits to drop those hogs.
