I dont leave mine in the rain as a rule, but I, along with the sticks, have been rained on multiple times. I love the trigger function of the sticks and how they self level to the terrain. I have some bog pod sticks as well and do not like them near as much. Trigger sticks are the way to go IMHO

What dry lube? Graphite? WD 40 was all I had with me at the time at the lease.

Yep, having the same prob with a set of mine that is a couple of years old. Had to really soak them down with some WD 40. They are still a little rough, but at least functional. Still, I think they are the best shooting sticks out there (for my purposes at least) and when they finally give up...
