reloading manuals

I see these ranging from $5.49 for the Hodgdon® 2017 Annual Reloading Manual to about $33 for the Speer Reloading Manual, No. 14. I assume that the cheap Hodgdon will give data for their powder where as say Hornady's 10th edition will cover a wider range of combinations, but that's an assumption. What should I be looking for?

It's good to get at least 2 to compare. I use Hornady, Speer, and Lyman.
There's a wonderful thing called the internet where you can look up a lot of the load data.
9:10 I am using Hornady.

I try to use the bullet manufacturer's reloading manual. That said, they don't always have the bullet/powder combination I'm looking for. So I end up cross referencing different manuals to come up with a safe load. I myself have several different hornady manuals, Siera, Speer, Barnes and a couple other ones. You can never have enough information when comes to reloading.

I'd start with the Sierra and Hornady manuals. There's also an old book called the ABCS of reloading. It's not a reloading manual but more of a how to book.

I haven't bought a loading manual in quite a few years. The info you can get online negates the need for them.
I am also a member of LOAD DATA. It is about $25 per year and depending on what info you require,has loads from all the manufactures of bullets and powders.
Loads from all the wildcats also,which I own,and the info has helped me quite a bit.

I read the ABC's of reloading. Today I bought Hornadys 10th edition and Lee's 2nd edition. I have looked at data online but the books give data not published online, not for free anyway. I should be set for a while.
