It is titanium, at least part of it. (Probably the outer shell)

Might have to go back to the Dr. Pepper bottle and some duct tape.

Looks interesting for sure. As machining and solid modeling capabilities increase with suppressor manufacturers I think we will see more stuff like this. Pretty cool.

I succombed to temptation and bought one today. Looking forward to giving a review in about 3-4 months. If the decibel levels are accurate in their marketing then this could sideline many of my cans.

Good for you! You go guy! Hope it lives up to the hype and I'll start saving too.

Msrp is high but the actual price I'm seeing at dealers is inline with other titanium cans.

Lawman,
I'm friends with Kevin Brittingham who was the founder of AAC. He is now with sig after selling AAC to Freedom Arms(Remington). He just came to visit last week for a deer hunt and he brought a few if Sigs new cans over. They are shorter than older AAC cyclones and a little larger diameter. Accuracy and sound suppression was great with these. They should be availability in the next 2-3 months. Check em out

I was able to see and handle the Omega at the Dallas Safari Club Convention in Dallas today. Silencerco rep said it has the same sound profile as the SpecWar 7.62. It is substantially lighter than a SpecWar, and an AAC SDN-6. (14 oz.) Mounts to a SpecWar ASR mount, or direct thread. The compensator portion of the can threads off, and the Silencerco rep said that they will eventually have a flat end cap to replace it with if you desire decreasing the overall length of the can. The flat cap will "cost you a few decibels" as per the rep.

Its actually a few decibels quieter per their web page, and the people I know who tested them say the same thing. I might have to get a couple.

I asked my dealer about the Omega and he said I could probably get one in my hands in about a year. So I'm going with the Harvester 300.
