Actually did NOT ricochet off skull

I was getting ready to shoot this one boar at my feeder when I noticed he had a buddy sneaking up on him. I watched for several minutes as the two juvies chased each other all across the pasture. One would never allow the other to come in for a bite at the same time. One finally settled down to eat and I decided to take what I could get. The 120sst definitely did not ricochet of his skull as it struck in front of the left ear and made one bloody mess of things. As I was turning off the record switch the second boar came running out of the brush again from my left. I fired four times but was unable to recover a body. I'll wonder if I'd been patient enough that maybe they would have both been feeding together and given a better chance for a double. It was quite entertaining to observe this behavior.

That is a rather unique pattern on that hog...hope the turkey buzzards appreciate it.

I actually run across this hair color pretty often out here. Have killed a few big boars with it so it must be a dominant gene.

Nice hog! And good shot. Another hog becomes a good hog.

Newer, happier ending to this post. Specially trained tracking turkey buzzards revealed the location of the body of the second boar in the video. I had hit him through both lungs and he had actually dropped much sooner than I had thought. It's just that when I lost track of him he was headed away from me towards a ravine. Actually he had taken a hard right and dropped in the tall grass 30 yards from said creek, but even with thermal vision you can't see through damp vegetation very well at all. And in the dark I may not have even been looking in the right direction. Anyhow the buzzards had found him this morning. I am blessed with a double kill.

Why won't the mp4 videos play for me?

Google Drive was acting funky with me earlier this morning but seems to be OK now. What video player do you use?
