I probably have asked you before,but . . . is your Mini chambered in 223Rem ?? If so,what bullet do you shoot ??
I have a Mini in 6.8 and 300BLK and am trying to decide which one to turn into a daytime hog gun. I also have the chance to trade either for one chambered in 223Rem. --- SAWMAN

My Ruger Mini 14 can use either 223 or 5.56. I have not shot a 5.56 with it. I use Barnes Vor-TX 223 55gr TSX FB. I'm not picky with what type ammo I use, I tried this one and it works. I will say my shots are very close range so this setup works well for me.

Thank you for the response sir. Great bullets for the 223/5.56,those Barnes. I use both the 50gr and 53gr.
