This guy just would not go down. Did I hit him or not?

How far was the feeder from your shooting location?

I am listening with earbuds. The first shot sounds like it hit metal. It is did not sound like a carcass hit (but this isn't definitive, of course). It actually sounded like you were shooting a steel target. There is no impact report from the second, third, fourth, or fifth shots. The 6th and 7th had an impact report.

Just a suggestion. You should consider turning off the automatic NUC function. While it is handy, running in the semi-auto mode means you need only press a button to NUC when YOU need to NUC and you don't have to worry about it NUCing in the middle of a shot sequence as happened here when have have hindered you from taking an 8th shot.

I would say you hit him, on the first shot. The hog's butt goes down at .16, right after your shot. And it looks to be limping badly at the end.

So maybe a let shot on the first shot? If that was a torso shot, it seemed to have missed anything vital as the hog should have been down already by the end of the video, more than 2.5 minutes later.

It's possible the first shot hit the feeder stand leg. Feeder was 135yds away.. Following shots were 200 plus. He seems to be limping. I really thought he was going down.

He was definitely limping, but he could have been limping before the shooting started.

Well, and the shot may have passed through him first.

So likely 3 hits and moving badly at the end. He is going to be dead and probably not too far away from where you last saw him.

I know the feeling about thinking a hog is going down, only it doesn't. It isn't that different than when you have a hog down that gets up and runs away when you don't expect it..

I'm saying that battle ship is sunk, sometimes, it takes a while for the reactor to melt down. The TBPS recon squadron should be reporting back soon.

1st shot sounded like a hit ... he was limping. Maybe you'll find his remains...
