This nice sized boar came in just after dark and I dropped him with the 450 Bushmaster using the 260gr Winchester ammo. He dropped in place but just didn’t want to die. He just kept on kicking!

What was your range on that really nice kill? I’m shooting that same B450 setup and at 100-125y I’m missing the drop kill shots. I’m hitting the pigs but their running 25-50 yards to bleed out. I’m wondering if I should go back to my .308 for longer shots.

The shot was 115 yards. I have had really good results with this ammo and as good of results with the Hornady Custom 250gr FTX ammo. If mine don’t drop they leave large blood trails. I always like hitting hogs with the 450B.
