I tanned a rattlesnake a while back, it was frozen in a coil so when I tanned it I couldn't get some of the curve out so decided to use it for small projects. Dressed up a boring sheath.
Could of had the scales pointed down instead of up but it was a spur of the moment thing and didn't pay attention too close at the time, ooopsRattlesnake sheath 001.JPG Rattlesnake sheath 002.JPG . Still looks better than before.

Nice. Contact cement? I like using snake skin as in inlay (also) for leather projects.

Actually some glue made by Loctite, called Repair Extreme, it's an all temperature glue so hot or cold has little effect on it.
