Pulsar Apex LRF XQ38, Laser Rangefinding First Distance Tests

I recently received the Pulsar Apex LRF XQ38 thermal rangefinding rifle scope. I haven't gotten it on a rifle yet, but had some time to do some preliminary tests of the rangefinding capabilities and compared them to the Sig Sauer Kilo 2000 rangefinder. Measurements provided by the Pulsar were consistent as were those of the Sig, with the Pulsar's ranged distances coming in at 0.1-1.2 yards less than that of the Sig. Here it should be pointed out that the Pulsar only provides ranges in whole number yard (or meter) estimates and the Sig in yards and tenths. From a shooting standpoint, the differences in the estimated ranges is inconsequential for normal hunting situations.

It's so hard to judge range in the dark. This system would be real handy on my subsonic rifle setups where bullet drop plays a major factor.
