About to go hunting tonight. There is sign all over. I'm new to the whole pig pipe method. My dad suggested putting some wheat in them this time. Is it ok to load up kill photos here? Might be a dumb question. Anyways I'll let y'all know if I get any.

I got a small boar. That's what I've been killing mostly this year. I didn't take a picture of this one. I saw about 20+ in a field at midnight at about 150 yards away and that boar walk right into me from the nearby woods. Any of you guys got any experience with .300 Blackout? I've been using a .223 which works better than I thought but gotta do head shots to drop them.

I hunt pigs in Mississippi not very far from MS River. I've gotten so addicted to it. My dad and I hunt some private hunting clubs that he is a caretaker for that we hunt. We don't have hogs like some states but there are enough to have some fun. The plus side is the river will flood out the bottoms and knock down the population but after some time they will bounce back. This has probably been one of the worst years but we have been trapping and hunting them at night more also. Anyways I have picked up quite a few tips by watching his videos. Take care.
I hunt on the Red River outside of Denison and experience the same thing as you after flooding. When the water is up I don't have nearly as much traffic around the place.

My dad lives right on the River Levy and he says he sees them cross some but he has found them trapped on the wrong high ground and I guess they drown. He'll use a boat to go back on the hunting property. Guess the smart ones head for the river levy.
