Dove season 2014 opening day!

Well how was everyone's first day? Ours was very nice good numbers of birds this year and almost everyone limited out easily!

I did cheat a little with a belt fed shotgun!

Very nice! My youngest just out grew that same carrier. It lasted with no problems for all three kids. It should last for many more belt feed opportunities to come...

Birds were flying down here too. We will see how it goes this Saturday and Sunday.

We got 63 birds total for the day. Not great but not horrible either. Lots of birds around though.

Dove all,over maybe tomorrow after I get back from my spine Doc appointment I will get some. They sure are tasty with a little bacon on the grill. Ate all I shot last season I put in water so they do not get freezer burnt. TLM your picture was awsome!

LOL, I hear ya, ducks all over on shore, caribou, musk ox, bears... can't shoot a single one.

Even my daughter is teasing me with pictures of all the doves they are killing and I'm stuck at work. I hate when that happens.

I guess I'm gonna go buy me a hunt to figure out this dove hunting hype. We just don't have enough birds and it gets aggravating.
