I figured out why he is still kinda freaking out and growling is because his eyes aren't fully functioning yet. He sees things like big shadows and movement, also he is teething. I think he is about 3 weeks old

Apparently his preferred chew toy is cardboard right now. I cordoned off the kitchen, put him in a box with a door cut out. I put food, water and a plastic box with kitty litter in it outside the box.. So, he pounds down the tuna, (need soft cat food), the water he just tips over but I got up this morning and he had climbed in the kitty litter and used it. That was very cool. I was hopeful but now I am impressed.

We had opossums that would get in our garage when I was younger and learned to use the litter box in there by watching the cats.

At least Kit isn't using your kitchen counter!

Is there a permit needed to keep or rescue these?

Well, they say we break minimum 3 laws a day and some are felonies too without knowing it. I figure I am going to get mine over with right away.

Dan you better get to checking all those permits out and call the DNR over there and see if you are going to be a fit parent!! Hope we do not see you on the world news!!!

Just asking, I would not have one either, I think we need them here, not even allow to shoot a fox in FL

You know Frank, wherever there are a lot of coyotes you will see few grey foxes because the coyotes eat them like scooby snacks. Shoot more Yotes huh?

We do have red and brown foxes, a few, but not allowed to shoot them in FL. Too many yotes, yes we have way too many right now. I asked about the permit as we are not allowed to keep them as kits unless we do, but I would not get one, too much trouble. In states where you can shoot them I did not know if you had to have a permit to rehab a fox or anything for that matter.

Kit is smart, he has only crapped on the floor once, then I put the kitty litter box down and he goes in there everytime. Never seen a dog potty train itself in 1 day.
