After a couple of months of back trouble and then a couple of months after the surgery I’m finally able to get back in the woods some. Got this 180 lbs sow about 6:25 this evening.

Great to get back out there aint it.
I was down for a short time and am periodically down for several days at a time, but generally - - -> still above dirt, still shooting, hunting, reloading, etc.
Making the best out of the time that I am still here. Just grt out and do it,is my philosophy.
    Good hog sir.

Still not where I want to be but better than I was. Just trying to get back out and get some hogs! I used my 50 Beowulf on this one. Normally I use a 6.8

Glad to hear you're doin' "more gooder". 180# sow is a good way to test your back (or not). Don't trash what's mending, congrats on a fine sow.

I’m trying to do what they tell me. It’s just frustrating that I can’t do like I used to. But I’ll be ok. Thanks!

You'll learn to allow the young bucks to do some things that you used to feel obligated to do yourself. It gets kind of nice.

I’m lucky-I have a really nice brother-in-law that’s more like a younger brother. He’s good at the liftin’ and totin’
