200lb Bully Boar

With all this rain in North Texas, the vegetation is thick, the creeks are full, and the swine are movin. I've been after a sizeable boar for the past week. Each outing I just seem to have missed the boar or not stayed late enough. Sunday night I'm after him again but instead a sounder of about 25 comes in and vacuums up all my corn. Amongst them I spot a nice boar dominating the area under the feeder. As Woodrow F. Call once said, "I hate rude behavior, I won't tolerate it". I had to take the bully boar out.

The 6.8/120SST anchored the pig from a 49 yard shot. Beautiful backstraps harvested. The Photon XT continues to prove its worth and its value as an entry level night vision scope.

Nice hog! At least you have something to shoot! I couldn't even tell you where the hogs have gone where I hunt.

Looks like parts of Texas are just as thick as they are in South Carolina. The vegetation is so thick around here that there is no such things as a spot and stalk. We do the "sit and wait" for our hog hunting.

I'm sticking with Crest and Old Spice! I try to bathe every day, so I'm not sure what is going on!
