Using 2 Flir 536s now for coyote hunting is there much difference in a halo lr 50mm, reap ir 60mm and the mklll 60mm?Or are they all about the same far as image? Just looked through a reap ir 60mm but it was indoors an they didn't have a halo lr.Thanks

I think the cold temps has something to do with it it was in the teens or 20s when mine died.Hard to find anything in that native power for the money.

Finally got someone to return my call and somebody from customer service to email me back.They over nighted me a new scope it will be here tomorrow evening.

They finally called me back today.

Yep I guess they did our source it.At the top of Raymairne's page it's got Flir products.Mine made it 3 months but it was my backup or loner that went out.Hope my 536 keeps on working had it 6 months.I like the pts scopes alot.

Anybody that has trouble with a pts thermosight.Go to Raymairne.com for your warranty service at least try it first.After wasting about a hour on Flirs automated mess it told me to go to Raymairne.com.An it went smooth from there.I had a pts 233 die on my Saturday.

I'd love to have a 35mm and 60mm reap ir on my two guns but there no way I can or would send $16000 to 18000 for the two scopes.That's why I went flir wanted more magnification than pulsar offers for one of them.So I'm hoping the customer service isn't as bad as you say or gets better if I need...

I have had mine since September I like it alot.I also got a pts 233 for closer hunting I like it too.I've shot coyotes for 15 to 150 yards with the pts 536 so far.

What didn't you like about it?I have been thinking about ordering one.

What's the 736 like if a coyote pops out at 30 to 50 yards?Are you able to still get a shot on it?

I'm using a 22-250 right now.In some of the open fields out over 300 yards.But we have been setting up closer.Most have suggested the 100m zues or the mark lll 60mm.But I really want to stay in the 4000 to 5000 price range.I was hoping the 5x20x75 336 would get me close to what I'm wanting.

The 640 3x24x75 would be at 320 on 2x right.An the 5x20x75 would be 336 on the native of 5x wouldn't?

I'm looking at the armasight 3x24x75 640 and the 5x24x75 336.Wouldn't the 336 on 5x with no digital zoom be as clear as the 640 3x with the 2x digital zoom making it a 6x?An the 640 would be clearer on 3x with no digital zoom.

I rented I rented the xp50 to see how it worked may rent a Ir Hunter 60mm to see the difference in the next few weeks.
