New Pulsar Thermion Thermal Scopes for Summer 2019

The 12µm core is listed as being of 320x240 resolution. I wonder if this means it's being outsourced or something? As I can't locate any current pulsar product using that sensor, and the 17µm hasn't been out all that long. Also interested on how power source will be managed in such a small...

Thermal on a budget... looking for some experienced advice

Brian if I could make one slight correction. I believe the "new" XQ Apex models share the newer 17 micron cores as the new Trail XQ. As opposed to the last generation XD Apex which used a 25 micron core. Making the newer Apex's a good deal if image quality (As compared to other 384res thermals)...

    Gen 3 Opinions

Hello all, I had a question relating to the specs on a Gen 3 monocular i'm looking at. The specs are: F.O.M 1700~ 2000. Resolution 64~72 lp/mm - S:N 25~28. Sensitivity <25,00 - Gain <70,000. Are these pretty good specs for a Gen 3 Tube? It will be in a MuM-14 housing (including a head mount...

I also really hope it's available in Australia. I think I'd read somewhere it may be a US exclusive. Anyone know?

    Pulsar Core RXQ30V

I agree. The way I see it, if it hypothetically came down to Pulsar choosing between a 30mm objective or recording in their sub $2k scope; a bigger lens is always the best option. Pretty much any functional decision trumps luxuries like recording in my eyes. I have no interest in recording my...

    Pulsar Core RXQ30V

Cannot wait for you to give it a thorough run down! Are you planning on doing a bit of a comparison to perhaps the Apex lineup? I think a lot of people are seeing this as the best entry level setup in a long time.
