    Pulsar XP50 zeroing questions

    The XQ50 has a base mag of 2.7x, and preset mags at 5.4 (2x2.7), and 10.8 (2x5.4).. The XP50 has what, a base mag of 1.6x? Then presets of 3.2x, 6.4x and 12.8x? I'm guessing they made it so the 1.6x is 1" at 100, 3.2x is .5" at 100, and the 6.4x is .25" at 100..

    Pulsar picture in picture

I assume it has PiP.. For the XQ trail models, instead of short pressing the zoom button on top, you hold it down for a second or so (till the PiP comes on). then short presses will change the zoom in the PiP. To go back to no PiP, push and hold that button again. Not sure if it's the same on...

    Pulsar XP50 zeroing questions

One way you could get pretty close with your 22-250 @400.. Cut a piece of aluminum tape that is 18.7" long. Zero your 22-250 at 100 yds.. then use the freeze function with the top of the tape in your crosshair at 100yds. Move the cross (x) down to the bottom of the tape, and save.. you should...

    Any Flir 536 users ?

I have the Pulsar XQ50 trail and couldn't be more happy with it.. So far only shot out to 200yds with it, but would feel comfortable to maybe 300yds if I couldn't get me or them closer.. And Pulsar customer service is awesome, had an issue with a hand held, sent it in, and they sent me a new...

    Sighting in help

Last time I sighted mine in I tried a new target someone had mentioned on a forum.. use an incense stick. Stick it in a box or something with the end sticking out about an inch or so, get it burning.. it makes a great small point to aim at.

    Pulsar trail PiP help

That's weird.. the XQ50 Trail goes to native mag whenever you turn on PiP.. You can cycle through the different magnifications on the PiP, and the main screen stays at native.

Quick help with pulsar trail recoil activated video

Just saw this, so doesn't help with last night's hunt.... To switch between modes of recording/pics/recoil activated recording, you push and hold (for a sec or s0) the record button. Of the 4 buttons on top, that's the button closest to your eye. In the upper left corner of the display you...

Any Other Pulsar Trail Owners Losing Zero?

1st, do the update if you haven't already... I was having 5+" of drift before the update. Now I can swap between 2 rifles and change the profile and be within an inch at 130yds every time. This is with the DLOC mount, always torqued to 45 in lbs.. Just curious.. where are you? Did you zero...

    Pulsar XP 50 trail video?

When I was trying to do what you're doing I googled that problem.. it's a common issue with iphones, not accepting video formats other than the iphone format (not a fault of Pulsar). I pretty much gave up on trying and just use the computer now. I use the VLC computer program and convert the...

    Pulsar XP 50 trail video?

What do you mean 'save it to your phone'? You can download an app called VLC.. then from the Stream Vision app you choose 'save to VLC' instead of facebook, e-mail, etc.. then you can watch in VLC and the sound works.. and it's saved on your phone.

    PVS-14 storage

As mentioned above.. best thing to do is always remove the battery. I also keep the pinhole in the front cover covered with a piece of tape just as an added precaution for when safe is open, but again, as long as the battery is out and it's not on it doesn't really matter.
