    It's not a vendor specific thing. They've been having the new lenses for awhile now. All the new scopes I've received from Night Vision Guys (One of our site sponsors) have the new lenses. And much much better people to deal with than Optics Planet. IMO.

    Its happened twice to me and once on a friend. All three times were when the scope was about a week or two old and it's never done it since.
